Sonisphere Festival 2009 Knebworth House photos

For me personally I think Sonisphere was much better than the Download Festival although to be fair Download had a better line up, I liked how the stage times were staggered to as one band finished 5 mins later the other stage started so I didn't miss too much! I loved the Jager Rock Truck, some great bands played on their especially The Defiled, second time I've seen them and there going from strength to strength!! Someone once told me Avenged Sevenfold were like Pantera and after shooting them i can confirm.... their fuck all like Pantera!! Didn't get to shoot NIN or Metallica, bit gutted about NIN as its was their last ever UK show. Great festival!!

When I saw Avenged Sevenfold for the first time, I had only heard their cover of Pentera's 'Walk' which is something of a party piece for them. It wasn't a bad cover but you're right, beyond that, they sound NOTHING like Pantera. I've had a photo from you before that you took at a Biohazard gig in Sheffield last November. Good to see you've got site up now, it's looking great!
